Hey there!
Xander here! How’s your weekend going? Hope you’re taking some time for yourself to unwind and relax. Sure wish I could, but there’s so much work to do! This show has really been a lot of work and dedication. Plus i’ve been writing album reviews for some other people as well and working a full-time job at the same time. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have a free minute to just kick back, grab a brew and say “ahhh… what’s on TV?”
Lately i’ve been listening to a little bit of country. Yeah, I was suprised by this too, actually. I fully expect to be made fun of for it, but one thing you can’t deny about it – it’s honest. Most of the songs I listened to on the radio while i’ve been at work have really made me stop and grin a little bit. It’s nice to hear people talking about the simple things in life that you can easily miss when your pace is forced to be so fast: going to the movies with your loved one, sitting on the front porch when you were a kid and the world was a huge playground… lots of things. That’s just me all over, though. I love NASCAR, I own 6 guitars and I always look for the real.
Excited about chapter 2 of the show. Seriously. You’re really gonna like the next artist we have- i’m sure of it! Keep checking back here for updates, and thanks for telling people about the show! I appreciate it SO much!
